Intel Arc B370 Xe3 iGPU appears on Furmark 2 — Panther Lake graphics fall 14% behind last-gen Xe2 Arc 140V
Intel's Next-Gen iGPU Stumbles in Early Benchmarks
A leaked Furmark 2 benchmark result for Intel's unreleased B370 Xe3 iGPU has surfaced, and the initial numbers are... concerning. According to the results posted on X, the B370 actually underperforms compared to its predecessor, the Arc 140V Xe2 iGPU, by a significant 14%.
This is definitely not the performance leap we were hoping to see from Intel's integrated graphics division. While it's important to remember that this is just one benchmark, and pre-release drivers/hardware are always subject to change, it raises questions about the architectural improvements and overall performance of the upcoming Panther Lake platform.
Could this be a driver issue? Are there other factors at play that are hindering the B370's performance in this particular test? We'll have to wait for more benchmarks and official releases to get a clearer picture. For now, these initial results are a bit of a letdown.
